There are two overall approaches to educating students: in groups or individually, both of which have their own advantages under certain circumstances. I believe that adopting a collective method, encompassing both approaches, would be effective in the learning process. This essay will elaborate on the benefits of both views, highlighting relevant examples to support this claim.
To begin with, the educational system of each country falls into diverse stages requiring specific teaching methods with careful consideration to yield positive outcomes. The first stage is undoubtedly primary school, where the youngest participants attend. This stage is relatively more important than the following stages because children learn the reason why they attend school. Consequently, it is imperative that they team up with other counterparts to improve their social skills, regardless of competition. For example, there is a consensus among sociologists and psychologists on the issue, which highlights the importance of social activities in the early stage of the learning process, where children first confront other students of the same age to understand the importance of developing communicative abilities in societal aspects.
However, as children grow up and step into higher stages, such as universities with a higher degree level, a solitary attitude may become obligatory, especially in a bachelor's degree, where young adults should organize their professional careers to pursue alone, based on their personal passion. Therefore, each step of the educational process assuredly requires a specific endeavor. Take young researchers into account as an example; those who want to continue tertiary education in a field of medicine. Consequently, this person must complete fieldwork on their own with a specialized topic of research, which requires a solitary methodology to bear fruit.
In conclusion, as indicated above, the educational system comprises different steps, each of which requires specific management to bode well for a bright future, whether studying in groups or alone. I strongly align with those who support that every stage should be organized based on its particular needs and circumstances, while a combination of both approaches is essential.
