In most cases, many schools nowadays give students homework on a daily basis. Some people believe that providing assignments regularly for children is beneficial, while others think that it is quite harmful for them. I personally think it is beneficial for them. On the one hand, most people agree that giving schoolwork to students helps them manage time as well as gives them time for themselves too. The major advantage is that they improve their studies. While doing assignments, they improve their handwriting. Another merit is that they develop their personality. Furthermore, they build their hobbies and focus on organizing things properly. The final pro is positive social activities. In order to fit into society, they have to understand their role and responsibility towards the community. To do that, schoolwork helps. On the other hand, some individuals argue that giving too much homework or regular schoolwork can be harmful to children. One disadvantage is psychological pressure. When they have too much schoolwork to do, they would not have much time to do house or kitchen work, which parents dislike. As a result, they get scolded. Another demerit is social pressure. To socialize, they have to talk to local people, but due to schoolwork, they will not be able to socialize with other people. So, they will be socially pressured. The final limitation is physical pressure. They cannot participate in extracurricular activities because of the homework. In conclusion, having homework regularly has more benefits than not having it. So, in my opinion, schools should give homework to students.
