Learning how to use computers for people aged 65 and older would be a good use of government money. I completely agree with this idea since learning how to work with computers is a good way for older people to use government resources. Older people need to learn new things in their lives. To start, in the modern world, technology has grown rapidly, and most activities involve computers. People without computer skills can find life challenging, so specifically, older people need to learn how to work with them. For instance, older people need more healthcare facilities, and managing doctors' appointments often requires computer skills. In addition, older people can improve their memory by learning new skills, and activities like learning about Windows and different computer abilities can be useful for their brains. However, some people do not agree with this idea. To begin with, older people have weaker eyesight, and blue light can disturb their eyes and make them weaker. For example, blue screen light can cause dry eyes, which is not good for older people. Furthermore, the government could spend money to improve and boost healthcare and medical services, which would be better than spending on teaching computers to older people. For example, older people need free and high-quality healthcare services because they can become sick easily. To conclude, in my perspective, training older people in the use of computers could be a suitable choice for government spending. However, some people do not agree with this idea.
